Early voting for the October 14 election will be Saturday, September 30 through Saturday, October 7 from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (excluding Sunday). Early voting is held in the Registrar of Voter's office on the first floor of the Courthouse. Please remember to bring your photo ID!
Elections this fall will be held Saturday, October 14 for the primary and Saturday, November 18 for the general.
The October 14 ballot will include State Treasurer, three (3) Constitutional amendments, a proposition for the Disabled Veterans Homestead Exemption, and a proposition for a millage renewal for the Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District. The Town of Eros (Precinct 7) will also have on their October 14 ballot an election for two (2) alderman vacancies.
The November 18 ballot for Jackson Parish will include any necessary run-offs, as well as a proposition for a millage renewal for registered voters in the Ward Three (3) Fire Protection District.
In an effort to remain current and up-to-date in this rapidly changing world of technology, Jackson Parish Clerk of Court has decided to become a member of the Louisiana Clerks’ Remote Access Authority (LCRAA). LCRAA was created and authorized by La. R.S. 13:754 in 2014.It is a state entity authorized to design, construct, administer, and maintain a statewide portal of records that are maintained by parish Clerks of Court.
