WHAT'S ON THE BALLOT FOR JACKSON PARISH?

-This is the Presidential Preference Primary (Democratic Party and Republican Party)

WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF THE ELECTION?

-The Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) allows the registered voters of the Democratic and Republican parties to express their preference for a person to be the Presidential nominee.

WHO CAN VOTE IN THIS ELECTION?

-This is a closed party election, which means only Democrats may vote for Democratic candidates and only Republicans may vote for Republican candidates.

Early voting for the April 4th election begins Saturday, March 21st through Saturday, March 28th (with the EXCEPTION of Sunday, March 22nd) at the office of Angie Roberts, Jackson Parish Registrar of Voters located at the Jackson Parish Courthouse during the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
