QUALIFYING DATES FOR 2018 FALL ELECTIONS  (5/21/2018)
Qualifying dates for the 2018 Fall Elections are Wednesday, July 18, 2018; Thursday, July 19, 2018; and Friday, July 20, 2018 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Jackson Parish Clerk of Court office for the elections of School Board Members and Municipal Offices (Mayor, Alderman, Chief of Police) for the following: East Hodge (Mayor, Chief of Police & Alderman); Hodge (Mayor, Chief of Police & Alderman); Jonesboro (Mayor, Chief of Police & Alderman); North Hodge (Mayor, Chief of Police & Alderman); and Quitman (Mayor & Alderman).  The 2018 Fall Elections Dates are Tuesday, NOVEMBER 6, 2018 (PRIMARY) and Saturday, December 8, 2018 (GENERAL).
 
MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY  (5/21/2018)
In accordance with La R.S. 1:55 and in observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed Monday, May 28, 2018.  Our regular office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. will resume on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. 
 
JACKSON PARISH CLERK OF COURT JOINS STATEWIDE PORTAL  (10/31/2016)
In an effort to remain current and up-to-date in this rapidly changing world of technology, Jackson Parish Clerk of Court has decided to become a member of the Louisiana Clerks’ Remote Access Authority (LCRAA).  LCRAA was created and authorized by La. R.S. 13:754 in 2014.  It is a state entity authorized to design, construct, administer, and maintain a statewide portal of records that are maintained by parish Clerks of Court.  Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions regarding the portal or any other matters.

LOUISIANA DEATH RECORDS  (11/16/2015)
As of January 1, 2016 our office will have the ability to issue certified copies of Louisiana death records for deaths that occurred from January 2013 to present. For deaths occurring prior to this, you will need to contact Louisiana Vital Records. Effective August 1, 2016, the cost will be $26.00 cash per copy. Please contact our office for further information or questions.
